Grab a bacon bundle, watch a pig show, or attend one of the Ohio Pork Council’s many events at the 2022 Ohio State Fair. Like many Ohioans, Ohio Pork is excited to be making a return to the Ohio State Fair and would love for you to join us for some state fair fun! The Ohio Pork Council will be at the state fair from July 27 through August 7, serving delicious pork products and hosting some of those favorite events.
If you’re like many fairgoers, you are probably craving a famous Ohio State Fair pork loin sandwich or wishing you could get your hands on one of those mouthwatering pork chops, well the wait is almost over! Stop in at the Taste of Ohio Café or visit OPC at the Pork Trailer, located by the Dairy Products Building, to satisfy all of your pork cravings this fair season.
Be sure to add a stop at the Land and Living building to your itinerary, here you will be able to experience all things Ohio agriculture, while strolling through the different zones within the building, including animal, food, environment, and even technology. The Ohio Pork Council will even have the opportunity for you to learn about pork production and will have a live sow with her piglets! You can also checkout one of OPC’s stage shows on July 31st or August 6th, where you will have the chance to “Ask a Farmer”.
Back again for 2022, is the annual “Rib-Off” competition, which will feature 7 competitors grilling and smoking their best recipes for the chance to win! If you find yourself in attendance at the fair on August 2nd, we encourage you to attend the “Rib-Off”, and participate in the “People’s Choice Award” voting (yes, there will be free samples).
